Why did the intelligence agency Mossad fail?
The world’s most powerful and best intelligence agency fails, several feet high barbed walls on the border are demolished with bulldozers. As if this is not a border separating two countries but a wall of someone’s house which is being demolished. Not one, not two but more than five thousand missiles are fired at Israel. Within no time, the scene on the streets becomes as if dead bodies are piled up in a mortuary. The Israel-Palestine war, considered the most dangerous ever, seems to be darkening humanity.
The most surprising thing is that when Israel’s Intelligence Unit and the world’s best intelligence agency, i.e. Mossad, were asked questions about this attack, the agency said, ‘We do not know how this happened’. It is a bit surprising that attackers from an extremist organization enter a country and attack, killing innocent people, and the intelligence agency there says that we did not even anticipate the attack.

Let us tell you that just a few days before the attack, America had warned Israel about the attack, but no action was taken. It is being claimed in many media reports that the intelligence units of both America and Egypt had warned Israel. But, Israel has rejected Egypt’s claims. It is said that Israel also has the most powerful air defense system. In such a situation, many questions arise as to why Israel could not stop this attack despite warnings and for what reasons Mossad failed.
First reason – Dependence on electronic devices
Mossad depends mostly on electronic equipment for its operations. This intelligence agency makes extensive use of mobile phones, landlines, radio sets and radar frequencies. At the same time, it is believed that Hamas terrorists did not use electronic devices to communicate with their top commander and each other. In such a situation, it can be said that this could be one of the reasons for the failure of Mossad.

Second reason – underestimating Hamas
Israel occupies many entry points of Gaza. After the declaration of war, Israel has closed all the posts. Israel is believed to have underestimated Hamas’s capabilities as the blockade took hold. Additionally, Israel viewed Iran-backed Hezbollah as a greater threat. Meanwhile, Hamas prepared for an attack which Mossad could not foresee.
Third reason – Hamas getting support from other countries
Hamas terrorists attacked from land as well as sea and sky. To cross the border, Hamas terrorists entered Israel by paragliding. It is believed that there is no such airstrip in Gaza where Hamas terrorists could take training. In such a situation, it can be assumed that Hamas terrorists may have received training from Iran or any other allied country. The time taken for weapons and paragliding training also shows that preparations for the attack were being made for a very long time. Because Hamas got support from other countries, perhaps that is also why Mossad intelligence failed.
Terrorist organizations carry out similar attacks. They know that they will ultimately lose in a fight with a powerful country, but their objective is to spread terror and carry out psychological warfare. Israel already has such a reputation that it does not spare its attackers. But, the terror that Hamas terrorists are spreading in Israel is a victory in itself for them.
