WTC Final 2023: The first match of the series played between New Zealand and Sri Lanka (NZ vs SL) has been very exciting. In the first match played between New Zealand and Sri Lanka, the Sri Lankan team had set a target of 285 runs for the Kiwi team. In response, Kane Williamson scored an unbeaten 121 and Daryl Mitchell played a brilliant inning of 81 runs for the Kiwi team. But after Mitchell’s dismissal, New Zealand’s wickets kept falling and 8 runs were needed in the last over and the team had only 2 wickets left. But Williamson, while batting brilliantly, gave his team the victory by running one run off the last ball.
