As part of the BJP’s campaign, Nadda interacted with local people and handed over copies of the party’s ‘Sankalp Patra’ (manifesto). He was accompanied by BJP MP Harsh Vardhan and other party leaders.
In the evening, Nadda will campaign door-to-door in South Delhi’s Badarpur area.
The BJP plans to reach out to voters in 250 wards of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). It has entrusted this work to about 100 big faces, including several Union ministers, chief ministers of party-ruled states and senior officials.
Various party leaders, including Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak and BJP’s Delhi unit president Adesh Gupta, are involved in the 12-hour campaign that began at 8 am.
Voting for the MCD elections will be held on December 4 and the counting of votes will take place on December 7.
