Kolkata (Hindustan Reporter) Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday made serious allegations of corruption against Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Along with this, he also challenged to dismiss the party leaders arrested in teacher appointment and other cases from their posts. Shah said that Mamata Banerjee is opposing CAA because of her support to infiltration.
Amit Shah said that development cannot take place in a state with so much infiltration. Mamata Banerjee had once stalled the Parliament on the issue of infiltration, but now she is silent. He claimed that after BJP comes to power in Assam, no one can infiltrate there. He said that Assam has done commendable work towards stopping infiltration. But infiltration continues in West Bengal due to the vote bank politics of the Trinamool government. Mamata Banerjee is opposing CAA, but let me clearly say that CAA will be implemented in the country. No one can stop the implementation of CAA.
Taking aim at Mamata Banerjee over the suspension of Leader of Opposition in Bengal Assembly Subhendu Adhikari, Shah said that she can try to silence Adhikari but she cannot silence the people of the state. His countdown to the post of Chief Minister of the state has started. Shah challenged Mamata Banerjee to suspend her leaders arrested in corruption cases from the party. She said that the Chief Minister cannot do this because she fears that they may implicate her nephew. He said that the people of Bengal are fed up with the cut-money and syndicate of Trinamool.
The Union Home Minister said that 212 BJP workers have been killed in political violence in West Bengal and people will avenge these killings with their votes in the 2026 assembly elections. Shah urged people to ensure a big victory for the BJP in the Lok Sabha elections. He said, “We must ensure that BJP forms the next government in West Bengal. To achieve this, we will have to win maximum Lok Sabha seats from the state in the next parliamentary elections.” Along with Shah, Union Ministers and other leaders of the state also participated in this rally.
