AAP MP Raghav Chadha
Aam Aadmi Party leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has made a big attack on the central government regarding the Agniveer scheme. He said that we had already said that this scheme is a dangerous experiment, it should not be implemented. This will have wrong results. Along with this, Raghav Chadha raised the question that why Amritpal Singh did not get the status of martyr? He also said that the mortal remains of martyr Amritpal Singh were not brought wrapped in the tricolor? Why was he sent in a private ambulance instead of an army vehicle?
Raghav Chadha has strongly criticized the Central Government by saying that just taking photographs and distributing sweets on the occasion of Diwali does not respect the soldiers, the patriotism of the government which does not respect the martyr is under doubt.
This is not true respect for the army – Raghav Chadha
Raghav Chadha said that after the martyrdom of any soldier, he should be given a final farewell with full military honours, this is the true honor of the army. He said that if proper respect is to be given then the pension and compensation received by them should not be abolished in the name of cost cutting but should stand with their families in their hour of grief.

An amount of Rs 1 crore to Amritpal’s family
AAP MP Raghav Chadha said that our party government respects the martyrs, hence the Punjab Police bid farewell to them with state honours. Along with this, he said that the Punjab government will give an honorarium of Rs 1 crore and martyr status to the family of martyr Agniveer Amritpal Singh.
Who was Shaheed Amritpal Singh?
Amritpal Singh was a resident of Mansa, Punjab. Just a month ago, he started his service as Agniveer in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir. He was found dead on 10 October. Investigation revealed that he had suffered a head injury. His funeral was held on 13 October in his hometown but no guard of honor was given. Which was criticized a lot on social media. Now Aam Aadmi Party has also raised questions on this.
