of Uttar Pradesh Ghazipur Ration is distributed every month through free ration distribution system for poor and helpless families in the district. But the eyes of the Kotdars on these rations which are distributed free of cost have fallen to such an extent that they are not giving rations by continuously getting thumb impression from the poor under the action plan to usurp the rations they get. One such case has come from Lonepur Gram Sabha of Devkali block. Where ration is not being given by the quota for the last 3 months, for which the villagers and women have demonstrated at the district headquarters today.
In fact, since Kovid-19, different rations are given free of cost to the poor by the Uttar Pradesh government and the central government. On the other hand, if we talk about the past days, the central government has extended this scheme for 1 more year, but the schemes given by the government to the poor are being dominated by the ration mafia, which is visible in Lonepur village of Devkali block. The meeting can be seen in Harijan Basti.
What is the matter?
Where Kotedar Shivji Pandey is getting his thumb impression from the villagers for the last three-four months. In such a situation, there is talk of giving ration next month, but after not getting ration for three-four months, the anger of the villagers erupted at that time. When the villagers reached to collect the ration and the Kotedar again got their thumb impression made, but they were asked to give ration only for 1 month, after which all these people reached the district headquarters today to plead with the District Magistrate.
The supply inspector reached the spot and asked for investigation
