Surendra Patil, who lives in Dombivali, Manpada area of Thane, has more than 1.5 lakh followers on Instagram. A few days ago he came in contact with a person. The person had told him about the business of fake notes. After this, it was decided that Surendra would give fake notes of Rs 1 crore 60 lakh to that person in exchange of Rs 40 lakh.
‘Duplicate police’ stopped the car and recovered tax of Rs 40 lakh
On Sunday, Surendra went to Murbad with his car. After this, for his own protection he kept two unlicensed guns with him. Meanwhile, 8 people came to him and pretended to be police and seized Rs 40 lakh from him. When Surendra Patil came to know about the duplicate police, he lodged a complaint at Manpada police station.
Police caught 4 accused, Surendra also arrested
After investigation in the case by Manpada police, anti-extortion squad arrested 4 people Swapnil Jadhav, Aadesh Bhoir, Sachin Jadhav and Akshay Gaikwad. The police has started searching for the remaining accused. Police recovered Rs 14 lakh 35 thousand from the arrested accused. When the police investigated this matter, Surendra Patil was also arrested. Police said that Surendra Patil had used the weapon without a license. Surendra Patil is a builder by profession, he works in the construction of small and big buildings.
Reel was made sitting on police officer’s chair, called ‘King of Dombivali’
A few months ago, Surendra Patil had taken a photo of himself sitting on the chair of a senior police officer at Manpada police station in Dombivali. There was no one present there when he took the photo. During that time, Surendra had made a reel and posted that video on Instagram, and in the video, Surendra Patil had called himself the king of Dombivali. Surendra Patil came into limelight after the video went viral. The police had also arrested him in this case. Apart from this, many cases like fraud, assault etc. are registered against Surendra Patil.
