Recently, Union Minister and senior BJP leader G. regarding the death of a girl during the stampede in Sabarimala temple. Kishan Reddy has written a letter to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He has expressed deep grief over the incident and also underlined the importance of the Sabarimala temple and the 40-day spiritual journey of devotees of Lord Ayyappa. Yes. Kishan Reddy in his letter has raised questions regarding the security arrangements inside the temple. He also demanded the government to take necessary action in this matter.
Union Minister Kishan Reddy wrote to the Chief Minister that around 1 crore devotees visit Sabarimala every year, most of whom visit Lord Ayyappa between November and January. The number of his devotees in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is more than 15 lakh. But it is seen that Ayyappa Swamy devotees are facing problems. Even a young girl died there while waiting for darshan, it is very sad.
Demand to fix the system in Sabarimala temple
Through his letter, the Union Minister has requested the Chief Minister of Kerala to make such arrangements inside the temple so that the devotees do not have to wait long to have darshan of the Lord. He has also requested the government to deploy adequate personnel and staff inside the temple. He said that devotees should get basic facilities like food, water, medical aid and sanitation during their visit to Sabarimala.

Central ready to help state government
Yes. Kishan Reddy said that the state government should provide a safe passage without any inconvenience to the devotees seeking the darshan of Lord Ayyappa. The Government of India is ready to support its initiatives in this regard. He further wrote- I would also request you to consider allowing those NGOs who are ready to help in the temple premises and from Pampa to Sannidhanam.
