Villagers sitting on strike outside Municipal Corporation
There is a heart-wrenching news from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. Here, a one year old innocent girl of a couple sitting on protest outside the Municipal Corporation has died due to cold. This couple along with other villagers were on strike for several days demanding a road. Despite this, no hearing is taking place. This girl had felt cold because of sitting under the open sky. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Now after the death of the child, the corporation officials have accepted the demands, after which the protest has been ended.
The matter pertains to village Parsakheda Gautiya of CVganj police station area of Bareilly. According to the villagers, there is no road in the village even after 76 years of independence. For this, the village people have been raising issues on different forums from time to time. Despite this, no government agency has taken any initiative till now. Whereas the villagers have to cross the railway line every day due to lack of road. In such a situation, till now more than 20 people have died due to being hit by the train. In such a situation, this time the villagers decided to fight one-on-one and a protest was started outside the corporation office.

Harish Chandra, a resident of the same village, also participated in this protest. According to Harish, his wife also participated in the protest along with other villagers. Since she also had one year old daughter Vidya in her lap and everyone was sitting on a dharna at the Municipal Corporation gate. In such a situation, his daughter’s condition worsened due to cold at night. In the morning, he took his daughter to the doctor, where he was told that she had pneumonia. After this, he was going to a private hospital with his daughter, but the daughter died on the way. As soon as this news was received, there was chaos in his house.
The road will be named after the girl child
On the other hand, when the corporation officials got information about the incident, they too were shocked. The officers hurriedly held a meeting with the villagers and told that a proposal to build a road in the village would soon be sent to the government. After this assurance the villagers have ended the protest. After returning from there, the villagers performed the last rites of the innocent girl. Said that whenever this road is built, it will be named after this girl.

Municipal Commissioner Nidhi Gupta Vats said that she was not aware of the girl’s death. He told that he had written a letter to the government for the Parasakheda road, in which information about the financial condition of the Municipal Corporation was also given. After this, a conditional mandate was also issued by the government. It was during this process that it came to light that a ring road was emerging from there and the service lane of the village was being connected to it. In such a situation, building another road would be a misuse of government funds. The same thing has been explained to the villagers who are protesting.
