Joshi said that instead of suicide, Ramprasad should have kept his point in front of the corporation officials.

The minister said that it was told by the priest of the temple that the family of Ramprasad Meena was living in the temple premises since 1984 but stopped paying the rent a few years back and after that the matter went to the tribunal where the family of the deceased was asked to vacate the house. On the other hand, after the case of suicide came to light, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took cognizance and ordered the officials of the Heritage Corporation to take action on the hotel, after which bulldozer action took place on the illegally constructed hotel near the deceased’s land and the corporation’s action continued throughout the day.
