There are about 102 such government residences in Panchkula and Chandigarh. Of these, there are 84 government houses in Chandigarh and 18 in Panchkula.
In response to a question by Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) MLA Abhay Singh Chautala, Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala, while giving this information on Monday during the ongoing winter session of the Haryana Assembly, said that Rs 10.18 crore in 2020, Rs 17.76 crore in 2021, Rs 17.76 crore in 2022. 6.93 crores and in 2023, about Rs 5.2 crores have been spent on renovation and repairs so far.
