Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on Goa tour today. During this, he will inaugurate the India Energy Week 2024 and lay the foundation stone of different projects worth more than Rs 1,350 crore. Energy Week is India's largest and only energy exhibition conference, in which 17 energy ministers from different countries will participate. India Energy Week 2024 is being organized from 6 to 9 February.
More than 900 exhibitions have also been set up in the programme. Also, the permanent campus of the National Institute of Technology will be dedicated to the nation. Modi will also address the Developed India, Developed Goa 2047 programme. PM will first inaugurate ONGC Sea Survival Centre. ONGC Sea Survival Center has been developed to advance the Indian Sea Survival Training Ecosystem to global standards. In this, 10,000-15,000 personnel are expected to be trained annually.
After this, he will inaugurate the India Energy Week 2024 and then participate in the Developed India, Developed Goa 2047 program. It has been told that achieving self-reliance in energy needs has been the main focus area of PM Modi. Taking another step in this direction, India Energy Week 2024 is being organized in Goa. PM will hold a meeting with global oil and gas CEOs and experts.
PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of ropeway
PM will also inaugurate the permanent campus of National Institute of Technology Goa. The newly constructed campus has Tutorial Complex, Departmental Complex, Seminar Complex, Administrative Complex, Hostel, Health Centre, Staff Quarters, Convenience Centre, Sports Ground and other facilities to cater to the needs of the students, teachers and staff. Apart from this, he will lay the foundation stone of tourist ropeway as well as passenger ropeway connecting Panaji and Reis Magos. Also, the foundation stone for the construction of 100 MLD water treatment plant will be laid in South Goa.
