Mumbai Metro Ticket Fare Discount By Maharashtra Shinde Fadnavis Government
Mumbai: The government of Maharashtra’s Eknath Shinde and Devendra Fadnavis has already given a big gift to women and the elderly. Now a big gift has been announced for the students and Divyang people as well. After giving 50 percent discount in ticket fare to women in state transport buses today Government of Maharashtra Has announced a reduction of 25 percent in the travel of Mumbai metros. Means now students, senior citizens and disabled people Mumbai Metro to travel in 25% discount on rent Will get This exemption will be implemented from May 1.
Thousands of passengers using the National Common Mobility Card (Mumbai One) will get its benefit. Instructions have been given by Mahamumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited and MMRDA to give this gift to the people of the state. From May 1, this facility will be available to senior citizens, students and differently-abled people on Mumbai One Pass for 45 trips to 60 trips.

CM Eknath Shinde gave good news of 25% discount on Mumbai Metro fare
Announcing this, Eknath Shinde said that the Mumbai Metro network has been prepared keeping in mind the needs of senior citizens, differently-abled and students. That’s why it is necessary for them to get maximum benefit of these facilities. Earlier, we have given the facility of free travel to senior citizens in state transport buses. Women have been given 50 per cent concession in bus fare. Now keeping in mind the social sentiments, we are taking this decision. Because of this facility, now more and more people will be able to travel in the metro.
Who, where, how will get discount on Mumbai Metro fare?
This facility will be available to citizens above 65 years of age, students studying up to 12th standard and disabled people. In order to get facilities for disabled people, certificates from government/medical institutions, proof to prove their age for senior citizens, students will have to present their own or their parent’s PAN card along with school ID card.

This facility can be availed at Metro Line 2A and 7 metro stations by showing the necessary documents in any window. This facility will also be applicable on new and old Mumbai-One cards. Its validity will be 30 days. The Mumbai One Card can also be used and recharged for travel at retail stores, petrol pumps and BEST buses.
