New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met the traders of local shopping centers on Sunday. For many years the shops of these traders are lying sealed. CM Kejriwal During this, he has told these traders that a solution will be found soon. CM Arvind Kejriwal can give relief soon on illegal conversion and parking charges imposed by MCD in local shopping centers. Traders of 500 shops sealed for illegal conversion and non-payment of parking fee have a hope after meeting the CM.

A delegation of traders met Kejriwal under the aegis of the Local Shopping Center Federation. This federation represents 106 market associations. The traders also raised the issue of 500 shops sealed by the MCD for illegal conversion and non-payment of parking charges.

During the meeting, the traders told the CM that the MCD and the government had suffered a loss of about Rs 5,000 crore due to the sealing. MCD has not received the house tax to be deposited from the sealed shops. Due to this, the Delhi government has suffered a big loss.
MCD people will not be able to harass traders
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has asked the Urban Development Minister and the Mayor to find a solution within a few days in the interest of traders. During this, the Chief Minister has given instructions to find a way out on the ongoing sealing in other markets as well. So that the shops get legal status and the people of MCD cannot harass the traders.
