Naxal-affected Kanker district of Chhattisgarh suspected Maoists shot dead an army jawan. Police officers gave this information. Police officials said that suspected Maoists shot dead Army jawan Moti Ram Nag (28) in Useli village under Amabeda police station area of the district. He told that the jawan was a resident of Bade Tevda village in the district and had come to his village on leave a few days ago.
Police officials told that when the army soldier was in the chicken market of Useli village today, the suspected Naxalites shot him dead and fled from there. He told that the police have registered the case and the matter is being investigated. A case has been registered in this matter at Amabeda police station. So far this week, a total of 6 jawans have been killed in Chhattisgarh. Only on Saturday, 4 soldiers were killed.
