Car parking fee was increased in Kolkata from April 1
Explain that from April 1, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has increased the parking fee for two-wheelers from Rs 5 per hour earlier, which has been doubled to Rs 10 per hour. Similarly, if the bike is kept for 5 hours, then the parking fee was increased to Rs.80. After that a fee of Rs 50 per hour was being charged. Apart from this, the parking fee for four wheelers was earlier Rs 10 per hour, which was increased to Rs 20 per hour. Similarly, the parking fee for passenger buses and lorries was Rs 20. It was increased to Rs 200 per hour.
