Ashok Gehlot will play innings even at the age of 80
Rajasthan Assembly Election 2023: Assembly elections are to be held in Rajasthan after two months and Lok Sabha elections are to be held after seven months, but Ashok Gehlot is busy setting the political agenda regarding Mission-2023. Amidst the political heat of assembly elections, CM Gehlot has started a journey under the Mission-2023 campaign, through which he will try to win 38 assembly seats in 18 districts. During this time, along with visiting the temples, he will interact with the people, by starting the campaign of Gehlot Mission-2030, will Sachin Pilot’s dream of becoming the CM become a hindrance not only in this election but also in 2028?
BJP had started Char Parivartan Yatra to create a political environment in Rajasthan, which was concluded by PM Modi on Monday. Senior BJP leaders not only participated in this yatra, but during the yatras, they were seen trying to set an agenda against the Gehlot government by raising issues related to crime against women, corruption and Hindutva. Now CM Ashok Gehlot himself has come down to the ground of the state to break the narrative created by BJP. Gehlot has decided to take out the yatra under Mission 2023.
3160 kilometer journey in 9 days
Through this visit, CM Ashok Gehlot will seek suggestions from people to make Rajasthan a model state, which will be included in the Congress manifesto. Gehlot will travel 3160 kilometers through 18 districts of the state in 9 days. During this, he will interact with the public and will also address public meetings in every district falling on the way. The first phase of Gehlot’s yatra will run from 27 to 30 September. After this, the second phase of the yatra will start from October 3 and continue till October 7.
Gehlot’s yatra will cover 38 assembly seats in 18 districts in two phases. The Chief Minister’s journey will pass through Jaipur, Sikar, Churu, Nagaur, Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur, Pali, Sirohi, Jalore, Rajsamand, Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara and Chittorgarh. This also includes all the seats considered weak for Congress. BJP’s entire focus is on this Nimar area. This is considered to be tribal and Jat belt. In this way, Gehlot is working on a strategy to strengthen his political equation.
Gehlot made a plan to counter BJP
Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will offer prayers in about 10 temples during his 3160 kilometer journey. In this way, there is a strategy to strengthen Hindutva politics and on the other hand, a plan has been made to counter BJP. The reason for this is the way BJP leaders had put Congress in the dock during Parivartan Yatra regarding Kanhaiyalal murder case and ban on organizing Hindu festivals. BJP had tried to portray Gehlot as anti-Hindu on the issue of Sanatan Dharma. In such a situation, Gehlot will now answer the allegations made by BJP by visiting and offering prayers in temples during his visit and will try to prove that there are more followers of Hinduism than BJP?
Obstacles in the path of Mission-2030 pilot
Ashok Gehlot has set the target of Mission-2030 to make Rajasthan the number one state in the country in terms of development. In this way, the people of the state are being shown the dream that in 2030, Rajasthan will leave all the states behind in development. By saying this, Ashok Gehlot does not want to get the mandate in the 2023 assembly elections only, but is aiming for the 2028 elections. In this way, Gehlot not only wants to become an obstacle in the way of Sachin Pilot becoming the CM of Rajasthan, but also has a strategy to create problems in the next assembly elections. Since 2018, Pilot has been harboring the political ambition of becoming CM, but due to Gehlot it could not be fulfilled.
After rebelling in 2020 and showing political attitude several times since then, the Congress leadership has succeeded in wooing Sachin Pilot, but has not handed over the CM’s chair to him. Ashok Gehlot has clearly said that Pilot should be made the CM. Will not let it happen. In such a situation, the campaign launched by Gehlot regarding Mission-2030 is also being linked to the CM’s chair.
Actually, before the Mission-2023 campaign, CM Gehlot was going to take out a five-day Jan Ashirwad Yatra in East Rajasthan to demand the status of national project to the East Rajasthan Canal Project, but suddenly this yatra was postponed, it was said that Model Code of Conduct This yatra will be taken out after its implementation. After this, many political discussions gained momentum regarding postponement of Jan Ashirwad Yatra, but the political influence of Pilot in East Rajasthan. In such a situation, Gehlot’s journey without a pilot would have raised many questions.
At the same time, Gehlot has now started a new campaign regarding Mission-2030. CM Gehlot is currently 72 years old and when his dream is fulfilled after seven years, he will be reaching the age of 80. In this way, Gehlot has adopted the strategy of continuing his political innings for at least 80 years, through which, along with creating a political environment, it is also being considered a strategy to create obstacles in the path of Pilot.
