Income tax raids in Jodhpur district of Rajasthan continue for the third day. This raid has been conducted at a businessman related to textile and packaging. So far, Rs 3 crore cash and gold worth Rs 20 crore have been recovered in the operation. Nearly hundreds of Income Tax Department employees are involved in this action. Income tax officials in two vehicles reached the house of famous businessman Gogar in Shastri Circle on Tuesday morning. Raids were carried out. Even family members woke up from their sleep only after the Income Tax employees came home.
The businessman’s industrial unit in Pipliya Kalan village of Pali was raided. Along with Uma Polymer, the Income Tax team has also raided textile and packaging related industry units in rural areas of Beawar and Jodhpur.
Teams from many states raided simultaneously
Income tax teams of Jodhpur, Jaipur, Gujarat and Delhi have jointly taken action against Lodha Group of Jodhpur, Gogad Group of Pali and Cable Group in Pipliya village of Pali. Hundreds of officers and employees are involved in this. If sources are to be believed, in this operation which has been going on for 3 days, information about recovery of gold worth Rs 20 crore and cash of Rs 3 crore has come to light.

However, this information has not been shared officially by the department yet. This action is expected to last for 2 to 3 days. If sources are to be believed, this entire action has been carried out in a dramatic manner by the Income Tax Department. A day earlier, hundreds of officers were gathered at Khejarla Fort in Jodhpur asking them to go on an official tour and outing. After this, more than 50 vehicles were divided into different teams and raided different locations of the businessman on Tuesday morning. The raiding operation is still going on.
