Railway stations and airports were filled to the brim

Due to Michong storm, 23 flights were canceled at Chennai airport. 12 flights coming to Chennai and 11 departing from Chennai were cancelled. 181 relief camps were built in Andhra Pradesh

Public holiday has been declared in 4 districts of Tamil Nadu, 121 multi-purpose centers have been set up here. About 5000 relief camps have been built. 14 teams of Disaster Response Force are deployed.
21 teams of NDRF are deployed in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha and Puducherry. 8 additional teams of NDRF are in standby mode in these states. Trees have fallen in many areas due to heavy rains. At one place, two people died after a wall collapsed.
IMD General Director Dr. Mrityunjay Mohapatra has said that we have asked all the fishermen not to go into the sea till December 6. Red alert has been issued for the coastal areas of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh. Relief rescue teams are making every possible effort to save people’s lives.
