PM Narendra Modi (PTI)
Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a special message by releasing a resolution letter named 'Modi Guarantee 2024' on Sunday, Ambedkar Jayanti. Many big promises have been made in this resolution letter including UCC, one country-one election, free ration. However, it has avoided new populist promises. But for a developed India, emphasis has been laid on social, digital and physical infrastructure.
There is silence in the resolution letter on NRC. There is no mention of population policy in the country in the resolution letter. In the resolution letter, emphasis has also been laid on bringing rail ticket waiting to zero and free treatment of Rs 5 lakh under Ayushman to every senior citizen above 70 years of age. Apart from this, there is also a promise of getting permanent membership of India in the United Nations, transparent recruitment and implementation of strict laws to stop paper leaks.
BJP released manifesto
In fact, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the BJP's manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on Sunday, the occasion was Ambedkar Jayanti and a copy of the Constitution was also kept on the stage. Under this initiative, BJP gave a special message of respect for the followers of Baba Saheb and the Indian Constitution. In the total 76-page manifesto touching 14 key areas, the party has avoided new populist promises and has emphasized on social, digital and physical infrastructure, so that the foundation can be laid for the country's next 25 years.
BJP's promises
In the manifesto, BJP has promised to implement one country, one election, one voter list for every election, uniform civil code within 5 years. The poor have been promised free ration for the next 5 years and electricity bills will be brought to zero under the PM Solar Scheme. The special thing is that the party has also made a big announcement in the direction of ending the problem of railway ticket waiting system by increasing new trains.
spirit of resolution
Prime Minister Narendra Modi described BJP's manifesto as empowering youth power, women power, poor and farmers. PM Modi said that Modi worships those whom no one asked. This is the soul of the resolution letter. Emphasizing the need for a stable government in India in a world going through a period of uncertainty, he said that work on the resolution paper will start after the results are declared on June 4. Describing today's occasion as special for the resolution letter, the Prime Minister said that it is the day of Mata Katyayani in Navratri, she has a lotus in both her hands. It is also the day of Tamil and Malayalam New Year.
The economic pillar of the country is strong
One thing that seemed missing from this resolution letter is that this time no mention has been made about NRC whereas in the 2019 BJP resolution letter there was mention of implementing NRC. There is no mention of population policy in the BJP manifesto, whereas the Prime Minister himself had talked about this policy from the ramparts of the Red Fort on 15 August 2019. However, if we analyze the entire manifesto of BJP, then it can be called a manifesto in which an attempt has been made to attract the influential and strong sections of the society, but it mentions only those things, if fulfilled, the economic base of the country will be damaged. May the pillars remain strong.
