Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur presided over the 75 years program of the establishment of Progressive Himachal: at Kumarsain in Theog assembly constituency of Shimla district today. Addressing a huge public meeting at Kumarsain’s Durbar Ground, the Chief Minister said that the fire sub-station Theog was upgraded to a fire station, Narkanda police post was upgraded to a police station, new roads for beautification of Tanu-Jubbad lake, 20 new floors under the scheme. To provide Rs.10 lakh for upgradation of Kumarsain Civil Hospital to 50 beds, for upgradation of Primary Health Center Narkanda to Community Health Center and Rs.10 lakh each for Thathal road and Tanu Jubbad-Shila Jan roads. declare.

Himachal Pradesh was ranked first in the country for vaccination of the targeted population, for which the people here deserve congratulations.
The state government took the initiative to change many customs.
CM Jai Ram Thakur said that the state government took several initiatives to change the customs as soon as it took charge. From the very first day, the custom of working in the spirit of political vendetta changed. He said that the state government always tried to work by staying close to the poor. The age limit of eligibility for social security pension has been reduced from 80 to 70 years earlier and now from 70 to 60 years. He said that at present about seven and a half lakh people are getting the benefit of this facility, on which about Rs 1300 crore is being spent.
The Chief Minister quoted former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s words that man is neither big nor man small, man is only man. With this spirit, the state government is ensuring the benefits of welfare schemes to the last person. Under the Mukhyamantri Sahara Yojna, assistance amounting to more than 20 thousand people is being made available to the tune of three thousand rupees per month.
3.34 lakh women get free LPG connections
Under the Mukhyamantri Grihini Suvidha Yojna, about 3.34 lakh women have been provided with free LPG connections. Under the Mukhyamantri Shagun Yojana, an assistance amount of Rs 31 thousand is being provided to the daughters of BPL families as shagun. Pointing towards the opposition leaders, he said that with the efforts of small people and changing the customs, many such schemes of the present state government are bringing a pleasant change in the lives of the people of the state. CM Jai Ram Thakur said that the present state government has ensured free drinking water supply in rural areas, free electricity supply to domestic consumers on consumption up to 125 units with a view to making the lives of the people better and more accessible. Women have been provided 50 percent concession on fare in ordinary buses of Himachal Road Transport Corporation. He said that the opposition parties are probably not liking this public welfare effort of the state government and are making unsuccessful efforts to create confusion by talking baseless.
15 developmental projects inaugurated
Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated 15 developmental projects worth about Rs 32.54 crore for the region. These include a 50-bed civil hospital at Kumarsain constructed at a cost of Rs 8.13 crore, Industrial Training Institute building at Rs 2.34 crore, Fruit Plant Nutrition Lab at Thanedar’s Dhabi building at a cost of Rs 1.11 crore, Kotgarh at a cost of Rs 94 lakh. Tehsil office and residential building, sub-treasury building at Kumarsain at a cost of Rs.70 lakh, Government Graduate College building constructed at a cost of Rs.10 crore, upgradation of connectivity road for village Magsu by Rs.63 lakh, Jimmu Nala water with Rs.1.38 crore Upgradation work of road, Upgradation of link road for Kanda village at Rs.2.27 crore, Connectivity road for Aroth constructed at Rs 1.47 crore, Ahar to Barthani Ghati Kangal road at Rs 2.19 crore, Kachin Ghati to Nag at Rs.20 lakh Marg, a forest rest house costing Rs 76 lakh at Tanu Jubbar in Kotgarh, a forest inspection cottage costing Rs 30 lakh at Dhar Nag Jubbar of Kumarsen, Patwar Bhawan constructed at Rs 12 lakh in Jarol, sub-tehsil Kotgarh.

These include ayurvedic dispensary to be built in Rayog at a cost of Rs 1.15 crore, Chaug Mor to Khargoti link road to be constructed with Rs 1.03 crore, road from Sadenua to Damai Chajol Chamagna costing Rs 90 lakh, Changghar Mohri to be constructed at a cost of Rs 66 lakh. Connectivity road, link road from Khaderi to Ghornu Narog costing Rs 74 lakh, lifting water supply scheme from Kingal Khad to Shalota in Gram Panchayat Shalota costing Rs 3.22 crore, lifting of Rs 3.23 crore from Bahna Khad to Baragaon in Gram Panchayat Badagaon Water supply scheme, restoration work of Majroh elephants water supply scheme from Rs 1.16 crore in Gram Panchayat Kangal and Mogra, forest cottage in Shamukhar of Shilaru costing Rs 20 lakh.
