But the Thackeray faction of Shiv Sena termed this budget as a budget sprinkling salt on the wounds of Maharashtra. Aditya Thackeray said, ‘In the election survey, BJP is not seen getting seats in Karnataka. That’s why the budget for Karnataka is looking especially kind. But so many industries moved out of Maharashtra, still nothing was given to the state. The message is clear. Maharashtra including Mumbai has to be brought on its knees and thumb has to be shown.
Aditya Thackeray said, ‘National Digital Library has been talked about for the youth. Women’s savings scheme is being talked about. What is the big deal and what is the new thing. There is no revolutionary reform for women. Talking about the youth, today the whole world has got involved in Google. There is no election in Maharashtra, so nothing was given.
