About 500 street lights running only on solar energy have been installed in Ayodhya between Guptar Ghat to Nirvani Kund and Raj Ghat. Apart from this, a solar power plant with a capacity of 40 MW is being developed on 150 acres of land in Ayodhya. In this, work of 10 MW has also been completed and further work is going on. Apart from developing the city on the lines of Solar City, a campaign has also started to make Ayodhya a zero single use plastic zone from the environmental point of view. For this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also launched a campaign last Tuesday. District Magistrate Nitish Kumar informed that people are being made aware about this and if necessary, punitive action can also be taken in the coming time to implement it effectively.

To minimize the use of single use plastic, vending machines will be installed in Ayodhya in the coming time, in which a bag of Rs 10 coin will be inserted, which will be environment friendly. Ayodhya DM Nitish Kumar said that along with the arrangements for the Pran Pratishtha Utsav on January 22, the government and administration are paying full attention to keeping the arrangements thereafter as well. From January 23, 4-5 lakh devotees are expected to come to Ayodhya every day. In such a situation, arrangements will have to be made for everyone’s accommodation, transportation, cleanliness, toilets and drinking water.
Tent city with a capacity of 5 thousand
Apart from the Trust, Tourism and Culture Department, the Ayodhya administration is also building a tent city for accommodation. Till now, tent cities with a capacity of 5000 have been developed by the administration at three places. In the coming time, it will be increased to a capacity of 25,000, for which space is also being identified. DM said that earlier four big fairs were held in Ayodhya, but now the number has increased to six. The administration will also make its arrangements.
