SCO Summit: Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made remarks about relations with India at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that a constructive dialogue with India has become difficult after 2019. This information was given in a news in the media on Saturday. Bilawal, who attended the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tashkent, said that India and Pakistan are part of the SACO and both the countries are currently involved in wider activities of the organisation. He said that India is our neighboring country. A person/country can decide on many things but cannot change its neighbour. Therefore, we should get used to being with them.
Bilawal said – talks with India became difficult after 2019
Bilawal said that constructive dialogue with India has become difficult after 2019. He said this possibly in reference to India’s announcement that year to withdraw the special status of Jammu and Kashmir and bifurcate the state into two union territories. It is noteworthy that India has repeatedly told Pakistan that it aspires to have normal neighborly relations with Islamabad in an environment free from terrorism, enmity and violence. India has said that it is up to Pakistan to create an environment free of terrorism and enmity.

Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal also said that no meeting is planned between the Pakistani and Indian prime ministers on the sidelines of the annual SCO summit in Samarkand, the report said. The SCO summit will be held in Uzbekistan on 15-16 September.
