Monkeypox: In view of the increasing cases of monkeypox, doctors have given instructions for safety rules. The United States declared monkeypox a public health emergency on Thursday. The announcement comes at a time when the Biden administration is facing criticism over the availability of monkeypox vaccines. Clinics in large cities such as New York and San Francisco say they have not received enough quantities of the two-dose vaccine to meet demand.

The declaration of a public health emergency will help channelize federal donations and resources to combat the virus. According to the AFB report, Health and Human Services Secretary Javier Becerra says that “we are fully prepared to take our response to this virus to the next level.” The secretary says that we appeal to Americans to take monkeypox seriously and help us deal with this virus.
