Addressing the businessmen, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan said, ‘Maryam Nawaz along with his comrades propagated communalism and religious hatred against me so that any religious fanatic would be incensed by this and killed me.’
Imran Khan also said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam is so restless that she is trying to ensure that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) disqualifies her in the Toshakhana case. The matter pertains to non-disclosure of details of gifts received during the declaration of his assets. The former cricketer said, ‘I do not fear death because it is decided by Allah, no one else.’
Maryam calls Imran ‘Satan’
In a rally held last Saturday in Rahim Yar Khan, about 400 km from Lahore, the president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had also talked about plotting to kill him. Imran demands Shehbaz’s resignation in audio leak case
Former Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday demanded his resignation after some audio clips of informal talks between Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his cabinet officials surfaced. Pakistan’s Intelligence Bureau has ordered an inquiry into the resulting security lapse. Khan, president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party, said, “Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif should resign following the leak of audio of him, some cabinet members and government officials.”
