What is African Union?
Let us tell you that African Union is a group of 55 countries. It was established on 26 May 2001 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. However, it was officially launched on 9 July 2002 in Durban, South Africa. It replaced the Organization of African Union. Its contribution to global GDP is Rs 18.81 thousand crore. The objective of the African Union is to discuss the economic and political issues of the country and find permanent solutions to them.
