The Modi government has prepared a draft bill regarding telecom service. Suggestions sought by October 20
Regarding Draft Telecommunication Bill 2022, Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnav says that, with the new Telecom Bill, the roadmap for industry restructuring and adoption of new technology will be prepared. The government has sought suggestions from the industry and people on this draft by 20 October. At present, users pay as data cost on WhatsApp or other apps, maybe after the bill is received, WhatsApp or other internet calling company will start charging extra for it. Ashwini Vaishnav says that cyber through this bill. To prevent fraud, provision has been made to increase the punishment of criminals who commit fraud.
