This is the reason why telecom companies and major organizations have been asked to prepare and implement the DCA platform. Prior consent will be taken from the users through this platform, tell that this track can also be done.
TRAI says that telecom companies will be given two months to implement the DCA platform properly. Explain that under the TCCCP Regulation 2018, the DCA platform will be given the facility to take consent, continue and cancel the consent from the users.
After this the data collected through this platform will be shared on the Digital Ledger platform. Not only this, telecom companies have also been instructed to use the common short code 127xxx only for sending messages seeking consent.

The scope, purpose, duration and name of the principal entity/brand of the consent shall be clearly mentioned in the message receiving the consent sent through the short code. One thing to note here is that initially it has been decided to on-board key entities related to insurance, banking, trade related sectors and finance companies to start the consent acquisition process. After this, other sectors will be onboarded.
