Maruti Suzuki: The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has recalled 166 units of the hatchback model Desire TourS. The company suspects that there is a defect in the airbag control unit of these cars. The company has urged its customers not to drive these cars until it is fixed. Now the cars that the company has recalled have been manufactured between August 6 and August 16.

The company says that Maruti Suzuki’s authorized workshops will contact customers and replace the air bag control units of their cars. Customers can get the check information by going to the customer in info section on the site and entering the chassis number. Chasing number is written on the vehicle ID plate. Maruti Suzuki has also told the stock exchange that it is suspected that there is a defect in the air bag control unit of these cars. Although this is an extravagant nature, but due to this it is possible that the air bags may not be opened on time.
