Delhi Excise Policy: The hearing of the case of Manish Sisodia, who is stuck in the Excise Policy case, was postponed today. It is being told that now he may have to wait till April for his bail. The trial court in Delhi has now fixed April 5 as the next date of hearing in the matter. On the other hand, regarding the hearing of Sisodia today, his lawyer said that the copy of the FIR lodged by the ED has not yet been provided. Along with this, he has also sought time from the court to file his reply.

The bail hearing of Manish Sisodia, caught in the liquor scam, was to be held today but the special court extended its date. It is being told that Manish Sisodia refused to respond to the reply filed by the ED and sought more time from the court for this.
In the court, Sisodia’s lawyer has said while presenting his side that “right now the detailed information of this case is being collected. In such a situation, time is needed to present the arguments related to this case. On March 9, AAP leader Manish Sisodia was arrested by the ED from Tihar Jail. Former Delhi Education Minister Manish Sisodia was arrested on February 26 in the Delhi Excise Policy case. After this arrest, Manish Sisodia has appealed several times in the court for his bail, but till now he did not get bail. Regarding his bail plea, former Education Minister Manish Sisodia has said that “there is no use in keeping me in jail”. Because the ED already has information about everything related to the case.
