Aja Ekadashi 2023: There are many beliefs about Ekadashi fast in Hindu religion. Ekadashi fast is considered the biggest fast. In this context, let us tell you that, if you want to keep a fast, then you can keep a fast on this day. While observing Ekadashi fast, you should worship Goddess Lakshmi along with Lord Vishnu. Ekadashi fast worship method
Talking about the method of worship during Ekadashi, to worship on Ekadashi, you should wake up early in the morning, take a bath and wear clean clothes. After this, purify yourself and the house by sprinkling Ganga water, then meditate on Lord Vishnu and Mata Lakshmi and take a pledge to fast. After this, keep the picture of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi in front and offer Roli, yellow sandalwood, white sandalwood, flowers, Panchamrit, fruits on them. Also, definitely offer Tulsi leaves to Lord Vishnu because Tulsi is more dear to Lord Vishnu. After this, recite Vishnu and read the fast story. After the story, perform aarti of Lord Vishnu and Mother Lakshmi. After this, offer food to God and keep in mind that Tulsi must be included in the offering because without Tulsi the offering remains incomplete.

If we talk about the rules of Ekadashi fast, then start eating satvik food from Dashami Tithi itself and stay away from meat, fish and liquor. Along with this, on the next day of Ekadashi, provide food to Brahmins or needy people and donate Dakshina. You should follow your fast and keep taking the name of Hari during the fast.
