Explain that during this program when Mahi was asked about the future of electric vehicles, Captain Cool said that electric vehicles alone are not the solution to reduce pollution and are not enough to reduce carbon footprints. He said that reducing pollution depends on how you are producing electricity. He further said that if you are generating electricity in a thermal plant then we cannot call it green energy. What Dhoni meant was to emphasize on the production of green energy.
