Virat Kohli: Australia’s historic Melbourne Cricket Ground, the first and important match of the T20 World Cup, Pakistan’s team in front of India and that unbeaten innings of 82 runs by King Kohli, no cricket fan can forget. Many cricket experts described Kohli’s innings as the best T20 innings ever. At the same time, Pakistani bowler Haris Rauf, who ate two sixes by Kohli after a month, also remembered the match. In a recent interview, Haris has praised Virat for that miraculous innings. Rauf has also mentioned both the sixes hit by Virat in his over in his interview.
Virat is a player of a different level: Haris
Reacting to those sixes of Virat Kohli, Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf said, “The way Virat Kohli played in the World Cup, he has class. We all know how he plays shots. The way Virat hit sixes, I don’t think any other batsman can play such shots in my bowling. The star bowler also said that Kohli’s shot was a class act for which he was left with no answer. Haris Rauf further said, “If finishers Dinesh Karthik and Hardik Pandya had hit those sixes, I would have felt sorry, but it came off Kohli’s bat, so I didn’t feel bad.”

I had no idea he would do this: Haris
Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf said “Look India needed 31 runs in the last 12 balls. I gave only 3 runs in 4 balls. I knew that Mohammad Nawaz would bowl the last over and I tried to leave at least four boundaries for him and wanted to leave more than 20 runs for him. Since 28 were required off the last 8 balls, I bowled 3 slower deliveries and he got duped. I bowled only 1 fast ball out of 4 balls because the boundaries on the side of the ground were big. He further added, “I had no idea that he could hit me out of that bounce. So when he hit that shot, it was class. My planning and execution was fine, but that shot was of a different class.”

Appearance of the match
Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited neighboring country Pakistan to bat. Batting first, the Pakistan team had scored 159 runs at the loss of 8 wickets on the score board. Looking at the strong batting line-up of the Indian team, this target was looking easy. But the fast bowlers of Pakistan performed brilliantly. Both Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul were sent to the pavilion till the score of 10 runs. The Indian team’s troubles did not end here. Star cricketer Suryakumar, who was looking in excellent form before the World Cup, also could not do much in the first match. After which Hardik Pandya came to support Virat Kohli standing at the other end. There was a great partnership between the two, but Virat Kohli had an important contribution in this partnership. Virat single-handedly scored 82 off 53 balls to give India a memorable victory.
