PSL: In this match, Islamabad United won the toss and decided to field first. Saim Ayyub and Babar Azam got Peshawar Zalmi off to a strong start. Saim Ayyub contributed a total of 23 runs for his team. During this he faced 16 balls. Babar Azam hit a brilliant half-century. He was dismissed on a personal score of 64. He played one captaincy innings. His strike rate is usually questioned but in this match he hit 64 runs in just 39 balls. He hit a total of 10 fours in his innings. Hasibullah scored 15 runs. His partner Mohammad Haris played an excellent inning of 34 runs in 17 balls. Peshawar Zalmi gave a big target of 184 runs to Islamabad United on the basis of excellent batting by all these players.
Shadab Khan’s Islamabad United left behind by 12 runs
Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan took two wickets, while Hasan Ali and Mohammad Wasim Junior bagged one each. Despite this, they could not stop Peshawar Zalmi from scoring a big goal. In response, Islamabad United, who came to bat in the second innings, could score only 171 runs in their innings. Alex Hales scored 57 runs in 37 balls and Sohaib Maqsood contributed a total of 60 runs in 48 balls. Islamabad United lost the match by a margin of 12 runs.
