The Eliminator match has been very memorable for Mumbai fast bowler Issy Wong. Because, she became the first bowler in the Women’s Premier League to take a hat-trick. Wong turned the entire match around in 13 overs during UP’s batting. Wong took the wicket of Kiran Navagire, who was batting brilliantly, on the second ball of this over. After this, he completed his hat-trick by taking 2 wickets in the next two balls. Issy Wong bowled brilliantly in the match, taking 4 wickets for just 15 runs in her 4 overs.

Mumbai won the match by 72 runs
Chasing the target of 183 runs given by Mumbai, the UP Warriors team had a very poor start and the team lost 3 wickets in the first 6 overs itself. Due to the continuous fall of wickets, the UP team could never find momentum in the chase. The UP team could only manage 110 runs in reply to 183 runs and lost the match by 72 runs. At the same time, Mumbai has made it to the finals with this resounding victory and will now face Delhi in the final match on March 26 for the title battle.
