UAE won the toss and elected to bat against Nepal
As far as the match is concerned, UAE captain Mohammad Wasim won the toss and decided to bat first. They scored 310/6 in their allotted 50 overs. Asif Khan remained unbeaten after scoring 101 runs in 42 balls. During this, he hit 11 fours and four sixes. Apart from him, Vritya Aravind contributed 94 runs in 138 balls, which included two sixes and eight fours. Skipper Wasim also played a quickfire 63 off 49 balls, which included six sixes and two fours. For Nepal, Deepender Singh returned figures of 2 for 19. Sandeep Lamichhane, Lalit Rajbanshi and Sompal Kami took one wicket each. Chasing the big target, Nepal’s team has currently scored 210 runs till the news is written. Now he needs 94 runs in 73 balls. Half of the Nepal team has returned to the pavilion.

Significantly, Nepal and UAE are in fourth and sixth place in the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier. Seven teams have qualified for the 2023 World Cup in India. Those teams are England, New Zealand, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Australia and Afghanistan.
