CWG 22 Wrestling: The eighth day of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games was entirely in the name of Indian wrestlers. On Friday, India performed amazingly in wrestling. Actually, on Friday, India won half a dozen medals. Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik, Deepak Poonia, Anshu Malik, Mohit Grewal and Divya Kakran gave India medals on the eighth day of the Commonwealth Games 2022. On the strength of this spectacular performance, India has reached the fifth position in the medal tally.
India in top-5 in medal tally with 26 medals
Talking about the medal tally of Commonwealth Games 2022, Australia remains on top with 138 medals. Australia has so far won 50 gold medals, 43 silver medals and 45 bronze medals. On the other hand, hosts England have won 129 medals so far and remain in second place. Canada is third with 67 medals and New Zealand is fourth with 41 medals. India has won 26 medals so far and is included in the top-5.
