CWG 2022 Medal Tally: India continues to perform well in the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Till now Indian athletes have won 40 medals including 13 gold medals, 14 silver medals and 16 bronze medals. Weightlifter Sanket Mahadev Sargam gave India the first medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022. Sanket Mahadev won the silver medal in the men’s 55 kg India category by lifting 113 kg in snatch and 135 kg in clean and jerk on the second day of the Commonwealth Games.

Weightlifter Gururaja Pujari gave India the second medal in the Commonwealth Games. He won the bronze medal in the men’s 61 kg weight category with a weight of 269 kg.

Olympic medalist Mirabai Chanu won India’s first gold in the Commonwealth Games. He won the gold medal in 49 categories by lifting a total of 201 kg.

Weightlifter Bindiya Rani Devi won the silver medal for India in the women’s 55 kg Bharatvarsh category.

Jeremy Lalrinnunga has won India’s second gold medal in the Commonwealth Games. Jeremy won the gold medal by lifting 300 kg in a 67 kg battery.

Weightlifter Harjinder Kaur won the bronze medal in the women’s 71 kg India category by lifting a total of 112 kg.

The Indian team has won gold for the first time in the non-board women’s for event. In the final match, India won the gold by defeating South Africa 17-0.

In the men’s table tennis final, India defeated Singapore 3-1 to win the gold medal.

Weightlifter Vikas Thakur won silver medal in men’s 96kg category.

India’s Priyanka won the silver medal in the women’s 10,000m race walk. He did his best in a time of 43 minutes 38 seconds.
