On the other hand, Indian badminton star Kidambi Srikanth has brought laurels to India by winning the bronze medal.

Kidambi Srikanth defeated Jia Hang Teh of Singapore 21-15, 21-18 in the bronze medal match. Kidambi Srikanth was suffering from a leg injury while playing. Despite the injury, he has given India a bronze medal by performing well. Now India’s medal tally in Commonwealth Games has gone up to 51. Apart from this, the pair of Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal won the bronze medal in the mixed doubles at the Squash Games by defeating Australian pair of Lobban Donna and Peele Cameron 2-0.
