Commonwealth Games 2022: The ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 has been organized in Birmingham. Meanwhile, Alex Yee of England has won the gold medal in the men’s triathlon on the first day. Alex missed out on gold at the Tokyo Olympics last year and had to settle for silver.
24-year-old Alex took 50 minutes 34 seconds to complete the triathlon race. Alex defeated Hayden Wild of New Zealand by 13 seconds in this race. Australia’s Matthew House finished third, finishing the triathlon with a timing of 50:18 seconds.

The margin of victory between England’s Alex and New Zealand’s Hayden was only 13 seconds. Hayden could have won the race, but a 10-second penalty left Alex behind. Let us tell you that there are three events in triathlon, in which players have to cycling, swimming and running. The player who completes these three events in the shortest time is declared the winner.
Australia’s name on the first day of the Commonwealth Games
The first day of the Commonwealth Games was entirely in the name of Australia. On the first day 48 medals including 16 gold medals were at stake, in which Australia won 16 medals including 8 gold. Australia is currently on top. On the other hand, hosts England have so far won a total of 2 golds and a total of 9, with which they are in third place.
