Arshdeep Singh: Left-arm fast bowler Arshdeep Singh will play for English county team Kent in the coming season on the advice of Team India head coach Rahul Dravid. This will greatly improve his style of playing Test cricket. Till now he has not played test match at international level. Arshdeep Singh made his ODI debut in New Zealand last November. Arshdeep Singh will also spend the entire month of June and July in Kent.

Arshdeep has so far played 29 international matches for India. This also includes the ICC T20 World Cup to be held in Australia in 2022. Arshdeep Singh has played only seven first class matches so far. He has taken a total of 25 wickets in these seven matches. He proved to be a very economical bowler in first class matches. He gives only 2.92 runs per over.
Kent County announces association with Arshdeep
The official press release expressed happiness over Arshdeep joining the team. Kent’s Director of Cricket, Paul Downton said, “Arshdeep has the potential to do very well. They have the habit of playing in the summer season. He has shown he has world-class skills with the white ball, and I am sure he will put his red-ball skills to good use in the County Championship.”
