Giving information through an informal conversation with the media, CM Dhami said that the drafting work of the Uniform Civil Code will be completed by June 30, 2023. 90% of the drafting work of this much-awaited code has been completed. CM Dhami told that according to the update by the committee constituted for this, the work will be completed by next month. Only after this the government will move forward on further legislative action after receiving this draft. On this occasion, CM Dhami appealed to Uttarakhand as well as other states and said that for this very important work of nation building, all the states should implement the Common Civil Code.
