SP National Executive Meeting: The two-day national convention of the Samajwadi Party began in Kolkata from yesterday. Two Muslim faces of the party, Azam Khan and MP Shafiqur Rahman Burke did not attend this important convention. Azam and MP did not reach Burke
Let us inform that the new national executive of the Samajwadi Party has been formed. After this, this first and very important meeting of the party is being held to give edge to the important strategy of 2024. In such a situation, party Muslim face and veteran leader Azam Khan did not reach Kolkata to attend this session, along with another veteran party MP Shafiqur Rahman Burke also did not attend this meeting. However, on seeking information from Azam Khan, he cited his ill health. On the other hand, MP Burke gave the reason for being busy in the pre-scheduled program. While another Muslim face MP ST Hasan reached the meeting.

The absence of both raised questions
In such a situation, this is a very important meeting at the national level regarding the three assembly elections to be held this year and the Lok Sabha elections 2024 to be held next year. Which will run till 18-19 March 2023. In which big election strategies are to be made. While on the one hand BJP’s Mission-80 has to be tackled in the state, on the other hand a strong front has to be raised against the BJP at the national level. In such a situation, the absence of big leaders like Azam Khan and Shafiqur Rahman has raised many questions in the political corridors.
Akhilesh spoke about 2024
SP President Akhilesh Yadav reached Kolkata yesterday, Friday, March 17, 2023, to attend the party’s session. Soon after reaching Kolkata, he had an important meeting with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee. Giving information after this meeting, the SP chief said that we are trying to form a strong alliance against the BJP for 2024 with Mamata, Stalin, KCR and Nitish Kumar. Now the Congress has to decide what role it has to play in 2024.
