Amritpal Singh Arrest: Chief of ‘Warish Punjab De’ Amritpal Singh along with 6 of his supporters were today nabbed by the Punjab Police. He was arrested near Nakodar in Mahatpur area of Jalandhar. Several weapons have also been recovered from him. Several police teams were put together to catch him. He has two cases of hate speech registered against him for attacking the Ajnala police station in Punjab and escaping the accused from custody. Along with this, Section 144 has been imposed in Amritsar.
Know what is the whole matter
Let us tell you that Barinder Singh, a resident of Chamkaur Sahib in Rupnagar district of the state, had said in his complaint to the police that earlier he was a fan of Amritpal Singh. But one day he revealed some of his wrongdoings on social media. Due to which Amritpal became very angry and he raised Barinder from his colleagues and beat him a lot and abused him. On the basis of this complaint only one more accused including his associate Lovepreet Singh alias Toofan was arrested. He was locked up in Ajnala police station. That’s why Amritpal had reached in front of Ajnala police station with the holy Guru Granth Sahib in hand with a crowd of his supporters armed with weapons, swords and sticks. On being stopped by the police, he attacked the police station and rescued Lovepreet from custody. The Superintendent of Police along with 6 policemen were also injured in the same incident. Amritpal has been arrested in this case today.

How Amritpal was caught
A few days ago, the intelligence agency of the Center had informed the Punjab Police. That anti-national forces may attack ‘Warish Punjab De’ chief Amritpal. So that the atmosphere of the state can be spoiled. On the basis of this information, several police teams were continuously following Amritpal and his supporters.
