Sanjay Raut Arrest: Sanjay Raut will be produced in PMLA court shortly. At present, he is being taken from the ED’s office to JJ Hospital for medical examination.
The Enforcement Directorate has arrested Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in a money laundering case. It is being told that in the Patra Chawl scam case of Mumbai, the ED conducted a search operation for about 9 hours at Sanjay Raut’s house. During this, the ED has recovered Rs 11.5 lakh from Raut’s house. Sanjay Raut will have a medical examination in a while. After getting medical in JJ Hospital, he will be produced in the court.
At the same time, his supporters and Shiv Sena workers are continuously protesting against the arrest of Sanjay Raut. If media reports are to be believed, Shiv Sena workers are planning to protest all over Mumbai regarding this arrest. Here Aaditya Thackeray has given a big statement on the arrest of Sanjay Raut. Targeting the BJP, he said, “This is a conspiracy to destroy Shiv Sena, suppress the voice of Maharashtra. It is in front of everyone and it is obvious.

A total of 160 police personnel have been deployed by the Mumbai Police so that there is no law and order problem. Out of this, around 100 police force has been deployed near ED office, 50 near JJ Hospital. Around 10 police force is deployed near the sessions court. According to the information received, a case has been registered against Raut for threatening a female witness.

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said, “Sanjay Raut has committed only one crime that he did not bow down to the intimidation politics of the BJP party. He is a man full of conviction and courage. We are with Sanjay Raut. Before being arrested, Raut had said that the ED was trying to weaken Shiv Sena and Maharashtra. Therefore, a wrong case has been filed against him.
