Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal surrounded the center by holding a press conference. Taking a jibe at PM Modi’s taunt on Revdi culture, Kejriwal said that tax is being charged from the general public on food as well and loans worth Rs 5 lakh crore of big industrialists have been waived off. Kejriwal said that for the last few days, there is a protest against the facilities being provided to the public for free. It is being said that if the governments provide facilities for free, then they will become poor. Has the economic condition of the central government not worsened?
CM Kejriwal’s questions to the Center
CM Kejriwal also raised questions on the Agniveer scheme. The CM said that in the past, the central government brought the Agniveer scheme. The reasoning behind this was that the burden of pension would end. After all, what has happened that the central government is unable to give pension to the soldiers. Delhi CM said that it is happening for the first time after independence that any government is saying this. He said that the Central Government has also refused to bring the 8th Pay Commission.
CM Arvind claimed that the central government has said that there is no money for MNREGA and this year it has been cut by 25%. Kejriwal said that the poorest farmers and laborers of the country, who used to do daily wages for hundred days in a year, have also been cut by the government. The central government gives a part of the tax collected to the state governments. Now that too has been cut.
