Let us tell you that last year on May 19, 2022, the Supreme Court sentenced Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu to one year in jail in the year-old case of road rage. After which Sidhu surrendered in the Patiala court on 20 May itself. After this, the court sent him to Patiala Jail. Accordingly, the term of his sentence was till 18 May 2023. According to the jail manual, every prisoner is given leave from labor for 4-5 days in a month. The benefits of some government holidays are also added to this. Whom Sidhu did not take a single day’s leave during this sentence. Accordingly, he has saved about 48 days with himself. In this way, Sidhu can be released anytime from March end to April 1.

Will meet Musewala’s family after his release
Narinder Pal Lali, close to Sidhu, said that Sidhu would first go to meet Musewala’s family after his release from Patiala jail.
