New Delhi. Nitish Kumar has suffered a major setback in Manipur. It is being told that five MLAs of Nitish’s JDU party have joined BJP. Political discussions have started in Manipur and Bihar regarding this late night exchange incident. Let us tell you that JDU has 6 MLAs in Manipur.
The five MLAs who have joined the BJP are Mohammad Achhabuddin, KH Joykishan, N Sanate, former Director General of Police AM Khaute and Thangjam Arun Kumar.
Giving information about the change of MLAs, the Manipur Assembly Secretary has said that the merger of five JDU MLAs with the BJP has been approved under the Tenth Schedule of the Constitution.
There is a lot of anger in JDU due to the departure of five out of 6 MLAs. Let us tell you that JDU had won 6 out of 38 seats in Manipur, now JDU has only one MLA left here. However, the statement of any MLA who switched sides has not come to the fore so far.
