Ranchi. Political uncertainty continues in Jharkhand. In the latest development, the meeting of the MLAs of the Grand Alliance at the Chief Minister’s residence on Saturday has ended. From here, UPA MLAs are being taken out of Jharkhand in three luxury Volvo buses at 2 pm. It is not yet clear where these MLAs are being taken.
The MLAs are being shifted from the Chief Minister’s residence to somewhere else in Chhattisgarh or Bengal. Congress and JMM MLAs are in the buses. All three buses are being taken under police protection. The convoy of Chief Minister Hemant Soren is also running from behind. It is being told that Congress can shift its MLAs from here to Chhattisgarh. Security has been beefed up at the Chief Minister’s residence.
The MLA had already reached the meeting with the bag. Congress MLA Shilpi Neha Tirkey from Mandar said that she has been asked to be ready for every situation. That’s why I brought the bag. If you are kept here, you will stay here. If asked to stay in the Chief Minister’s residence, he will stay there. No information yet. You have to do as you are told. It is said that the MLAs will shift under the leadership of Hemant Soren’s younger brother and Dumka MLA Basant Soren.
It is noteworthy that there has been a lot of confusion in the politics of Jharkhand. In the matter of office of profit of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, it is for the Election Commission of India and the Governor to decide. It is believed that the Chief Minister’s assembly membership will be cancelled. However, a formal announcement on this is yet to be made.
